Dr. Walter Q. Wang is a board-certified ophthalmologist and a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Wang specializes in Comprehensive Eye Care and the treatment of Advanced Glaucoma. Dr.Wang completed his internship in general surgery at the University of South Carolina. His residency in ophthalmology was completed at Tulane University and the University of Illinois at Chicago. He also completed a fellowship in Glaucoma at Harvard Medical School. He is a member of the American Glaucoma Society and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. He is an accomplished, highly skilled glaucoma and cataract surgeon.
Dr. Wang moved from Massachusetts to the Washington area in 2008. He has 2 beautiful children and loves playing the violin, exercising and spending time with his family.
